Hi everyone,
Are you wondering what to do with your family during a stay in Bournemouth? To make your life easier we put together a plan for a weekend away. Feel free to modify it and amend to your needs.
SATURDAY
Morning: Oceanarium
No holiday in Bournemouth can be completed without a trip to the Oceanarium. Take a couple of hours to see hundreds species of fish, reptiles and birds. The biggest attraction are definitely the penguins and every day you can watch them being fed. A trip to Oceanarium can be followed by lunch at the Pier Approach.
Lunch break
Afternoon: Rockreef
An all year complex featuring 28 themed rock-climbing walls, ropes course, zip line and cave-themed tunnels with ball pits. Rock Reef is a place where not only kids but also adults will have a lot of fun. The trip can be followed by a dinner in the town centre.
Dinner
Evening: Walk alongside the Lower Gardens, Bournemouth Pier and the beach
After an eventful day it’s nice to take a relaxing walk alongside the Lower Gardens, Bournemouth beach, see the famous pier and take some family photos.
SUNDAY
Morning: Corfe Castle
A gorgeous Corfe Castle is standing above the village of the same name, just outside of Bournemouth. As one of the oldest royal castles in England, Corfe has a lot of history and is an amazing fortification to see. Following the trip, you can have lunch in a restaurant near the castle.
Lunch
Afternoon: Splashdown
Splashdown is south’s favourite water park located at the Tower Park complex in Poole (next to Bournemouth). Additionally, in Tower Park you can go bowling, visit the cinema or have a dinner in one of the neighbouring restaurants.
Dinner
