What’s included in the Coastal Getaway package

Three nights on the East Cliff with dinner and breakfast every day, for £450 for two people. It runs from 1 October 2026 through to 30 April 2027, which makes it our off-season break, and it’s put together so that once you’ve arrived there’s very little left to pay for. Here’s exactly what you get.

The seasonal treat changes with the month

The day-two treat depends on when you come, which is a small thing that makes an October break feel different from a February one. Autumn brings apple cake, December mince pies, the depth of winter scones with jam and clotted cream, and spring hot cross buns.

What it’s actually worth

Our three-course table d’hôte dinner is £28.95 per person when booked on its own, so three evenings of it comes to £86.85 each. A standard inland double is £99 per room per night, which is £297 for three nights.

Booked separately, and without breakfast, that’s a shade over £235 per person. The package is £225, and it includes breakfast every morning, the arrival tea and shortbread, the day-two treat and the wine. So the extras genuinely are extra rather than a rearrangement of the same money.

What sits outside it

Friday and Saturday nights carry a supplement of £10 per room per night, so a break including a weekend costs a little more than one running Sunday to Wednesday.

If you’d like a sea view or a balcony rather than the standard inland room, seasonal upgrade supplements apply on top. Our accommodation pages show what the different room types look like, and reservations can price an upgrade for your dates.

The apartments aren’t included in this offer, and the package is subject to availability, so the popular weeks around Christmas and half term go early.

Where you’ll be eating

Dinner is in the Plantation Restaurant between 6pm and 8pm, from a menu that changes daily and is cooked by our own chefs using locally sourced ingredients. Vegetarian and vegan choices are always on it, and gluten free, dairy free and other requirements can be handled if you let the team know.

breakfast at Marsham Court hotel

Breakfast is the full buffet, continental and English, from 7.30am to 9.30am on weekdays and 8am to 10am at weekends.

One honest note: on quieter nights out of season, dinner may be served in The Retreat rather than opening the main Plantation dining room. Same kitchen, same menu, different room, and we’ll tell you when you book. Given this package runs October to April, it’s worth knowing in advance. There’s more about both rooms on our Plantation Restaurant page.

Bournemouth out of season

Three nights is enough to do very little, which is rather the point of coming in November. The Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum is immediately opposite the hotel, so a wet afternoon has somewhere to go without a plan or a car.

The outdoor pool stays open through the colder months for cold water dips, from 8am to 4pm between October and March, if that’s your sort of thing. The beach and the gardens are a short walk either way.

Fancy three nights by the sea? Book with code COASTAL2627 on our offers page, or ring reservations on 01202 552111, Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.
