Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Geary, who got married here on 10th August 2018!
The couple first heard about the hotel through the Lighthouse Wedding Exhibition back in 2017. After booking their wedding with us, they were in regular contact with updates for the Wedding Coordinator, Kat.
The opted for the Bayview Package which included a menu tasting evening. Both thoroughly enjoyed sampling chef’s menu, especially Steven! The day soon came and, yet again, we had to have the ceremony inside of the hotel due to bad weather which was such a shame as it has been beautiful the last couple of weeks. Typical English weather!
Although we had to keep it inside, Amelia & Steven still had amazing sea views. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a bucks fizz reception with nibbles whilst the newly-weds went for a few photos. Guests were then invited into the beautifully decorated Dorset Suite for the wedding breakfast and evening reception. Amelia had made her table plan and centrepieces inspired by Disney/Pixar films. Guests all had little trivia boxes on their tables and enjoyed playing that during the wedding breakfast.
Amelia and Steven booked their wedding on a very good day, as the Bournemouth Fireworks Display was on. So at 10 pm all guests enjoyed the wonderful display out on the terrace with sparklers.
