Booking Christmas at Marsham Court before the September deadline

Book a complete Christmas or New Year package with us by 30 September 2026 and you’ll get 10% off the package rate. That’s the whole of it, and it’s worth knowing now rather than in November, because it’s the one saving on our festive stays that has a date attached. Here’s what the deadline covers, what it doesn’t, and how the packages compare so you can work out which one you’re actually booking.
What the 10% applies to
The discount comes off the package rate when you book the complete Christmas or New Year package. Supplements sit outside it, so a sea view room or a dog joining you is charged at the usual rate either way.
In practice, on the Christmas House Party at £794 per person for two sharing, 10% is around £79 each. On the New Year House Party at £558 per person, it’s around £55 each. Deposits are the same whenever you book, at £50 per adult and £25 per child, so booking before the end of September mainly changes what you pay overall rather than what you pay upfront.

The Christmas House Party, 23 to 27 December
Four nights, and the festive programme runs right through them. Breakfast is a hot and cold buffet each morning, with lunch and dinner set out in the programme, and there’s a welcome drink on the first evening. Christmas Day lunch and the Boxing Day Grand Gala Buffet are the two big meals.
Alongside the eating there’s live entertainment throughout, dancing and festive cabaret, our Charity Cinema Horse Racing, and competitions and activities for anyone who fancies joining in. Santa visits on Christmas morning with gifts for the children, which tends to settle the question of when to open presents.
The New Year House Party, 30 December to 2 January
Three nights, built around New Year’s Eve. Arrival comes with tea and homemade shortbread, there’s a welcome reception drink, and the evenings bring live entertainment and dancing, a themed evening with cabaret, and New Year’s Eve prize bingo. The Gala Banquet is the centrepiece, with a glass of bubbly at midnight, and New Year’s Day starts gently with a special brunch.
Twixmas, for the quiet days in between
If a full house party isn’t your thing, the nights between the two, plus the run-up on 21 and 22 December, can be booked individually. Bed and breakfast starts from £59 per person a night for two sharing, and from £79 with dinner included. It’s the flexible option: come for one night or several, and build the days around whatever you feel like doing.
Supplements to factor in
These are charged on top and aren’t reduced by the early booking discount, so it’s worth adding them up before you compare.

If you’re joining us for the day rather than the night
Plenty of the festive programme is open without a stay. Our Baubles Bingo party nights run from 7pm to 10.30pm on Thursday 10 December at £24.95 a head, and on Friday 11 and Friday 18 December at £29.95, with bingo, games, prizes and festive sharing platters, both savoury and sweet.
On the day itself, Christmas Day dining in the Plantation Restaurant is £86.95 per person, or £56.95 for the carvery, with children under 12 at £41.95. The New Year’s Eve Gala is £91.95 per person. Private Christmas parties run throughout December with room hire included and minimum numbers applying, from £26.95 a head for a two course set lunch or midweek dinner up to £41.95 for three courses with choice on a Friday or Saturday evening.
